Summary: I dare you to write a one paragraph story. In seven

The old man chuckled as he watched the couple share a passionate kiss. It

was amazing how Time and Love worked in mysterious ways to bring the

deadliest of enemies together and make them the perfect soul mates. Years

ago, this old man had shown the blond vampire his destined soul mate.

Unwilling to accept it, the vampire had sent a minion to kill the child, his

soul mate, never knowing that the job was never completed. As it would turn

out, the child survived the attack and later became the Slayer. Fate

intervenes again and both the vampire and Slayer learned that Destiny cannot

be thwarted. The old man smiled at a job well done and looked at the book in

his lap. Written in the red book of Destiny, in long, elegant strokes were

the names: Buffy and William.
